Software Tester

As a Software Tester at Mestudent, you are the master of the bugs, features and changes. Your name will be a synonym of the highest quality of the product’s code. Thus, the quality of the product.



What you’ll do:

  • define, implement, and maintain test plans, test specifications and test suite
  • simplement and execute test strategies on all supported platforms and languages to help improve overall quality and test code coverage
  • design back-end integrations and utilise API for the purpose of testing/QA
  • test our platforms RESTful web service APIs
  • design and develop Integration, Performance, Scalability, and Stress tests using industry standards tools
  • assist in load testing and certify back-end services
  • participate in architecture and design reviews of complex solutions in cross-team engineering efforts
  • provide an advocate role for customers and operations during design reviews
  • identify, leverage, and successfully evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity.

What we're expecting:

  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or 6+ years of related practical experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in software design and development
  • 2+ years’ experience programming experience in one or more of the following Java, Scala, C#, Ruby
  • 2+ years’ experience of working with JavaScript.

  • you have experience in using ScalaTest or Specs2 frameworks
  • you can provide technical leadership to support a growing team
  • you have the enthusiasm to grow into a position that can push the boundaries of your role, moving to a position that initiates, plans, and executes large-scale, cross-functional and application-wide QA/Testing programs
  • you're fluent in the Queen's speech.
